COURSE DETAILS

The above course is designed for creative, motivated learners who wish to follow a clear progression route through applied and work related learning to more advanced qualifications.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO DO

For the First Certificate in Art and Design the learner is required to complete two Core Units and one specialist unit from eight choices.

  • Working with Fashion design briefs
  • Working with Textiles briefs

  • Working with Visual art briefs
  • Working with 3D design crafts briefs

NOTES:

  • If you select this course you should NOT select Art GCSE as well.
  • A pass in BTEC first certificate is equivalent to two GCSE passes at grades A* - C.
    This course requires pupils to work independently and be self managers if they are to achieve the requirements of BTEC ART
